As they say down south, Happy Fall Y'All!!.
I had a wonderful crafting weekend while helping to raise money for MS. If you enjoy going to crops, whether it be to scrapbook, make cards, crochet or sew, then the Adams Alliance MS Crop in Erie, IL is one you should put on your list.
Leeann Stortz is the organizer of this annual crop.
Since 2007, this organization has raised $28,685 for MS research. Way to go Leeann. What a great cause and very dear to my family. We EACH had 8' of crop space, LOTS of food, door prizes, raffles, and a great time. Gather your friends and come enjoy. This crop is held annually in Erie, IL in September. You can find Adams Alliance on Facebook.
My immediate alliance of crafters at this event included Cindyann, my niece DeeAnn, Alison, Brenda, and the long lost Kristen! It was great to see her again. We all came away with a door prize and some of us were lucky and won raffle prizes and THE GRAND PRIZE!! Cindyann was the lucky winner of 2 spots and one night's hotel room to Leeann's Spring Crop to be held in Rock Island, IL on March 3 - 6, 2016 at the Holiday Inn. Another wonderful event.
All of her events include vendors as well. You will never go away hungry.
Thank you, Leeann--looking forward to the next one.
After work today I did a little bit of landscaping. I wasn't planning on that, but my dear husband surprised me by turning over the flower bed behind my garage so I could continue with my new landscape plan. Oh how he hates to hear those words. LOL. What else does he have to do, right? He's retired! Thank you sweetie.
Tonight was the start of the new season for some of my favorite shows. I only got to watch Scorpion but will catch up on some of the others recorded on the dvr.
Happy Crafting!
Lyn
Great post full of useful tips! My site is fairly new and I am also having a hard time getting my readers to leave comments. Analytics shows they are coming to the site but I have a feeling “nobody wants to be first”.
